Eye Movement Indices of Efficient Search Space Reduction during Spatial Plan Formation
How humans effectively navigate a novel sequence of actions in order to achieve a goal is little understood. Developing a spatial route planning task that tests how plans are formed on the fly, we uncovered visual search patterns reflecting efficient search space reduction when planning in novel environments.
