Transportation during the Pandemic: Behavioral Immune System Predicts Likelihood of Use

Use of public transportation has dropped with the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aimed to examine the behavioral immune system (BIS) as a possible facilitator of the aversion toward public transportation use. Results showed that higher BIS sensitivity was associated with lover likelihood of transportation use.
