Many psychologists and psychiatrists advocate a positive revolution in our understanding of psychological problems. Either DSM6 will need to become a dimensional system or it will need to be replaced by a dimensional approach that is better supported by evidence and less stigmatizing. Seven reasons for this revolution are provided.
