Confirmatory Factor Analysis with Seven Steroid Hormones of the HPA and Hpg Axes: Does Biology Drive Fit?

Confirmatory factor analysis in Mplus comparing fit of one and two-factor models for seven HPA and HPG hormones in 947 ninth graders. DHEA-s was cross-loaded and loaded onto each factor sequentially to compare fit. Two-factor model with DHEA-s loaded onto the HPG factor improved fit statistics in males and females.
