Virtual

Oral · Diversity Science

Examined impact of person-first language (PFL) on students’ behavioral intentions regarding a professor with a transgender identity (TG). ANOVA with posthoc tests revealed significant effects of language (no gender information, TG first, nominative PFL, possessive PFL) on students’ intention to register for and intention to participate in a professor’s class.
