Abstract
A number of risk factors for emotional disorders emerge during adolescence, including social rejection sensitivity. Theoretical models propose that rejection sensitivity is expressed in a negative interpretation of ambiguous social situations and is related to early experiences of rejection. This study explored the theorized associations from adolescence to early adulthood.
