The Gamification of Health and Cognition: How Technology and Games Can Inform the Quest for Well-Being

Growing evidence suggests that games and technology may be essential tools to promote well-being. This symposium integrates knowledge from developmental, clinical and public health perspectives to (1) review the effects of technology and gamification on health and cognitive outcomes and (2) discuss implications for intervention work across the life span.
