Mindfulness entails paying attention to the present moment without judgment. This can affect people’s ability to self-regulate. Four presentations demonstrate the wide-ranging applications of mindfulness, evaluating its impact on PTSD symptoms, wellbeing, goal pursuit, and food and cigarette cravings with studies in the clinical, educational and motivational subfields of psychology.
