Gender Differences in Academic Self-Perceptions for STEM Students in Saudi Arabia

This study examines gender differences across academic majors on academic self-perceptions (self-efficacy, self-confidence, self-esteem, and motivation) in Saudi. A survey revealed significant differences in academic self-perceptions (ASP). ASP was higher for STEM students than for the liberal. Interestingly, the opposite was the case for females, just four years ago.
