Abstract

Utah Valley University demographic statistics show a very small percentage of students identifying as LGBTQ+ and it is hypothesized that this is because of stigma. The present study investigated perceptions of the LGBTQ+ community and found that both religious affiliation and gender impact LGBTQ+ perceptions in different hypothetical situations.
