The Role of Declarative and Procedural Memory in Second Language Acquisition: An Examination with Multiple Measures of Memory

We administered multiple measures of declarative and procedural memory to further explore previous findings that these systems contribute to L2 acquisition. We did not find significant relationships among declarative and procedural memory and L2 acquisition, suggesting the need for more research to better understand their role in L2 acquisition.
