Two Sides of the Authentic Leader Coin? Follower Perceptions of Authenticity and Inauthenticity in Leaders

Abstract
In an attempt to properly define the construct of authentic leadership we conducted an exploratory qualitative study of perceptions of authenticity and inauthenticity in leaders. Initial results indicate that authenticity and inauthenticity might be orthogonal constructs, and not separate ends of a continuum.
