How Do Kindergarten Teachers Use Emotional Prosody in Their Classrooms?

Abstract
This study examines whether the emotional-prosodic pitch of teachers relates to beliefs of student learning skills. Results revealed no significant relation between average pitch of teachers and their reports on the Approaches to Learning (ATL) scale, but a significant moderate negative relation between maximum pitch and ATL scale reports.
