Personality Predictors of Psychotherapy Preferences in Depressed Undergraduate Students

Abstract
When psychotherapy is tailored to clients’ preferences, clients fare better. In this study Big Five personality traits are found to predict specific dimensions of psychotherapy preferences (such as preference for therapist warmth and task-oriented activities) in a sample of undergraduate students experiencing moderate to severe symptoms of depression.
