Abstract

This study investigated the impact of complex sampling designs by examining the application of sampling weights in different linear models with six software programs using large-scale data sets. Results indicated software programs, STATA, Mplus, SAS, and HLM are capable for conducting weighted multilevel model analysis, but not SPSS or R.
