“Here’s My Accommodation Letter”: Student Perspectives on Interacting with Faculty about Accommodation Requests

This poster shares findings from a study of college students with disabilities regarding their experiences with the process of requesting and receiving accommodations in their courses. An approach to guide this process that acknowledges both student and faculty needs and expectations is provided.
