Generalizability of Common Executive Function Tests to Executive Function in Everyday Life.

Executive function is an integral component of clinical neuropsychological assessment, although results may not generalize to functional behavior. The present study tested the predictive utility of common executive function tests to a self-report measure of everyday executive function. Results demonstrated limited ecological validity of executive function tests.
