Predicting Cognitive Performance in Middle-Aged to Older Adults with Depressive Symptoms

The present study found via stepwise multiple regression analyses that mild depressive symptoms had a small effect on cognitive task performance in middle-aged to older adults, but that insula thickness was more informative in predicting this relationship than self-report of depressive symptoms alone.
