Fantasy and Reality Distinction in Children

Abstract
This study investigated the ability of young children to distinguish fantasy from reality using a categorization task with pictures. Correct categorization of the pictures was used in determining the child’s ability to make the distinction. Results supported previous findings showing that younger children have a harder time with the distinction.
