Abstract
Videotaped parent-child interactions were coded using the Parent Sensitivity and Child Responsiveness scales of the Emotional Availability (EA) scales. Child Responsiveness and Child Autonomy were significantly lower among preschoolers at risk for ADHD. These scales were associated with preschoolers' emotional functioning over and above preschoolers' ADHD severity.
