Associations Among Autism Traits and Alcohol Use in Young Adults

Abstract
We explored relationships among autism traits and alcohol use (frequency, amount, and bingeing) in a sample of 846 undergraduate students. Greater deficits in social skills were associated with less alcohol use. In contrast, deficits in psychological reasoning were associated with more days drinking and bingeing.
