The Contribution of Integrated Math Instruction in Kindergarten Classrooms

Abstract: This study examines whether children’s kindergarten math achievement improved more based on the amount of math instruction that occurred outside formal instruction time. Results revealed that there was no significant difference in children’s math scores based on their classroom’s amount of math instruction outside formal math lessons.
