Abstract
Response to expressive writing (EW) in a large sample of college students was jointly moderated
by neuroticism and expressivity: among participants with high neuroticism, those who were
very expressive showed enhanced response to EW over control writing, whereas those who were
inexpressive fared worse in EW than control counterparts.
