Assessing Motivation and Quality of Life of Racial/ Ethnic- Minority Patients with Depressive Symptoms Compared to White Patients during Psychotherapy

Abstract
The aim of the study is to explore if motivation and quality of life of racial- ethnic minority patients with depressive symptoms improve after psychotherapy compared to white patients. Although not significant, results found that motivation is critical in levels of distress for non- white clients compared to white clients.
