Abstract
This study bridges a gap in the literature by testing the effects of parasympathetic activity across various states and emotion regulation (ER) on affects longitudinally. We found blunted RSA reactivity predicted maladaptive ER, which predicted low PA and high NA across the week and 12-months following the lab visit.
