Abstract
This research is a qualitative and ethnographic study of ten Korean American young adults in NYC. The goal is to explore (1) how Korean American youth’s bicultural identity develops, and (2) whether the youth’s bicultural identity serves as a protector when facing prejudice and discrimination that can contribute to resilience.
