Abstract
The strength of the leader-follower relationship in LMX theory has profound impacts
on many aspects of follower behavior. A positive relationship was found between a leader’s
willingness to go above and beyond on behalf of the follower and follower’s job satisfaction, time
for creativity, and self-efficacy. Further implications are discussed.
