Profanity Use in Gendered Dyads: Males and Females Agree on What Words Are Used, but Disagree on Offensiveness of Some Profanity

The research intended to pilot an exploration of attributions and applications of profanity in the current zeitgeist, and profanity as a microcosm of male-centrism within the English language. The survey yielded significant data regarding perceived offensiveness and attribution of profanity within male and female dyads.
