Abstract

This student led, interdisciplinary research explores student participation and feelings of belongingness on Marshall University campus. 188 students were asked quantitative and qualitative questions that explore inclusiveness, participation, barriers to belonging, safety, and individual characteristics. Evidence shows key gender differences were found on feeling safe and included in the university.
