Alcohol Use and Unwanted Sexual Experiences Among Graduate Students

Abstract
A University-wide online survey assessing the frequency of sexual assault among graduate students (N=617) revealed critical differences in the frequency of sexual assault reported based on whether questions asked about unwanted v. non-consensual intercourse. Findings suggest misconceptions exist about what constitutes sexual assault, particularly in situations involving alcohol.
