Abstract
Undergraduates attended experimental sessions where mindfulness activities (coloring or a breathing exercise) were presented between pre and post tests that measured state anxiety, academic stress, and academic self-efficacy. Preliminary analyses found similar effects for both mindfulness activities on all measures. Both mindfulness activities reduced anxiety in males more than females.
