Reliability and Validity Evidence for the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale with Adults

There is a relative lack of validity evidence for the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale with adults. We found the internal structure results were consistent with the literature, score reliability was satisfactory, and there was general support for convergent and discriminant validity with measures of self-esteem, optimism, depression, health, and narcissism.
