Family Support As a Moderator between Community Violence Exposure and Dating Violence Perpetration in Urban Adolescents

This study found that perceived family support does not moderate the relationship between community violence exposure and physical dating violence perpetration. Further, we found that community violence exposure increased the risk of perpetrating physical dating violence and individuals who received more family support engaged in fewer physical dating violence behaviors.
