A Qualitative Exploration of Emerging Adults' Ideology of Work

Using a qualitative approach, the current study explored emerging adults’ ideology of work, which a critical part of their developmental and occupational transition. Three themes have emerged from the analysis of fifteen interview transcriptions – task responsibilities under a structure, expectations for social interactions, and personal compensation or fulfillment.
