Income Predicts Severe Weather Preparedness and Response

Because prior research suggests that individuals with lower income may be more vulnerable to the aftermath of trauma, we examined the relationship between income and weather-related preparedness and response. Results showed that income did not predict intentions or desires to prepare for severe weather, but did predict actual preparedness actions.
