Abstract
The present study utilized the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths assessment (CANS; Lyons, Griffin, Fazio, & Lyons, 1999) to assess risk of suicidal ideation, suicide attempts, and self-harm behaviors in maltreated youth. Suicidal ideation, suicide attempts and non-suicidal self-injury was associated with lower rates of resilience in maltreated youth.
