Abstract
Life stress is associated with psychopathology and gray matter changes, but the neural correlates of life stress during adolescent/emerging adulthood development remain uncertain. We demonstrated that frequency of dependent stressors was negatively associated with salience network GM in girls, suggesting a mechanism for higher stress reactivity in girls than boys.
