Abstract

This partial replication (Johnson, Huffman, and Jasper, 2014) examines the influence of viewing counterstereotypical narrative fiction on Blacks’ race perceptions. Analyses support hypotheses. Of the sample (N=66), participants in the experimental conditions were significantly emotionally impacted by White’s denouncements of racist ideology.
