Abstract
This study investigated the predictive effects of personality variables on exploration and exploitation behavior. Personality measures (e.g., Big 5) were administered along with a digital slot machine task in which participants used the outcomes of previous trials to inform future decisions. Only conscientiousness was positively related to exploration.
