Maternal Prenatal Stress and Postnatal Infant Outcomes

Prenatal maternal cortisol is related to negative neonatal outcomes. We measured maternal cortisol in the morning and at night. We asked mothers to provide information on outcomes such as C-section, gestational age, and birth weight. Using a community sample of N=229, we found no support for our predictions.
