To Trust and to be Trusted Are the Keys to Knowledge Sharing

Abstract
Using students working in groups (n=132), this study compared the effects of trusting and being trusted in determining knowledge sharing. The results indicated that being trusted could function as a unique independent determinant and was equally important as trusting. This suggests that mutual trust is the key for knowledge sharing.
