Attitudes and Reactions Towards Hiring Algorithms

Abstract
Systematic selection processes are often met with resistance as decision algorithms are deemed dehumanizing and invalid. Our research examined this resistance, developed and empirically tested a measure of resistance to algorithmic selection to better understand algorithm aversion. Lastly, we look to examine how applicants react to different hiring methods.
