Abstract
We examined whether exercise satisfaction, self-compassion, and their interaction would increase self-rated health. One hundred university students completed two monthly surveys. Exercise amount and satisfaction, self-compassion, and the interaction of self-compassion and satisfaction explained increases in self-rated health a month later. The results suggest self-perceptions that increase students’ self-rated health.
