Abstract

Introduction/Objectives: HSH is an equine therapy for adults with PTSD.
Methods: 102 participants were followed over 85 days to assess symptom severity (IES-r) and overall wellbeing (QLES-Q-SF).
Results: Meaningful mean score changes from baseline were reported (IES-R:-10.8 (p=0.01), QLES-Q-SF: 7.9 (p<0.01)). Conclusions: HSH is an effective complimentary treatment for PTSD.
