Abstract
This study examines perceptions of female leaders in the workplace, particularly by comparing leaders of different ethnicities, comparing leadership styles (autocratic and democratic), and examining how identification to gender roles and compliance to authority affect leadership perceptions. Results showed that masculinity and power distance significantly predicted ratings of female leaders.
