Abstract
Interview and focus group responses from 17 women of color were analyzed to identify key themes that represent these women’s unique perspectives on hookup culture, consent practices, and sexual assault. The main themes include race-based expectations regarding hookup scenes, the role of family in decision making, and individual responsibility.
