Self-Regulated Learners in Higher Education Are More Mindful, Kinder to Selves, and Grittier

Abstract
Self-regulated learning (SRL), grit, and self-compassion (SC) have been linked to academic performance. We examined SC and grit in students with low and high SRL. Self-reported survey results showed that students with higher SRL had significantly higher SC, grit, and GPAs. Future academic interventions using these factors will be discussed.
