Psychopathy Versus Sadism: Using Dominance Analysis to Predict Aggressive Behavior

Abstract
We hypothesized that Factor 1 psychopathy would be a stronger predictor of aggression than Factor 2 psychopathy and sadism. Hierarchical regression analyses and dominance analyses conducted across three laboratory studies (N=733) supported our hypothesis. Factor 1 psychopathy traits were the strongest predictor of aggression compared to Factor 2 and sadism.
