Congruence of Leader and Follower Implicit Theories: Consequences for Relationship Quality

Leader-follower relationships are assumed to rely on similar beliefs about leadership and followership but research has not directly addressed the patterns of congruence and subsequent effects on relationship quality. The purpose of this research was to investigate different patterns of implicit theory congruence at the leader-follower dyad level.
