Student-Instructor Relationship Measure: Development and Validation

Two studies were conducted to develop a measure of student-instructor relationship that emphasized humility, trust, and empathy. The first study involved item development and initial psychometric testing. The second study produced a short form of the instrument based on further reliability testing, factor analysis, and correlation with student grades.
